Tomorrow, 2 July marks the halfway point of 2022. This day sees us having experienced 182 days so far and another 182 to come…. As you must realise by now, I am a huge fan of milestones and the opportunities given to us to explore what this means in our bigger life journey. As I’ve said repeatedly, it’s the little things that lead to the bigger, more meaningful and significant moments in the overall picture of our lives. So what does this halfway mark mean to you? And what will you do to honour and observe it?

#13 Moments of Gratitude…
How apt that I write my 13th post of AHA! Moments on the 13th of this month. And what a beautiful theme too – one of my favourite topics in the world – Gratitude. Such a small word with such big heart, and just as the Joyful June calendar reminds us about it by prompting us to write a Thank You letter to someone… So what or who are you grateful for? And most importantly, when was the last time you took some time to just acknowledge or pay gratitude to something or someone?

#12 Moments on Clearness…
So something happened to me yesterday that I thought I had to share with you – all while discovering that there is a word such as “clearness”! You gotta love the English language 🙂 (And you guys know how much I love words and especially new words!) Following on the theme of my previous post about those uncomfortable chats and convos in #11 Moments of Knowing, I realised how one can feel just as uneasy due to sometimes knowing the answers – or at least thinking you do! The art of being clear, concise, plain, direct, coherent, distinct, logical or explicity uncomplicated is an art that many of us have yet to perfect… The below image makes us appreciate that we are not alone when it comes to this English thing..

#11 Moments on Knowing…
I had an interaction last week sometime that was a bit unsettling. Despite the fact that it left me a bit uncomfortable, with the subject asking me really big, hard questions – those ones we often want to or tend to ignore like… “What are your next steps..?” or “Where do you see yourself in xxx amount of years?” or even worse… “What is your end goal?”… If you’re going through a bit of a transition period as I am, you end up fumbling uncomfortably for the better part of conversations with these people and look for any way to change the subject. Afterwards, like I did, there is a possibility that you may end up feeling a bit dejected, even more lost and a bit disappointed at not having clear, straight answers for seemingly simple questions!

#10 Moments of Remembering…
Today, my paternal grandmother would have been 92 years old. And 2 days ago, 1 June, my great grandfather would have turned 125. There’s something about this month of June that always brings with it a sense of nostalgia and memories of days and ages gone by… Most importantly however, it gives me the opportunity to remember and realise just where I’ve come from, to help me to keep going to where I want to be 🙏✨🌻

#9 Moment by moment…
When I first started this blog/jlog (journal blog), I had this post drafted as my second entry… lo and behold a month later, and it finally feels ready to enter the world. Another reminder to me, and hopefully you that things don’t always go as planned! A bit or at least similar to some of the parallels that I’ve been going through in my own life of recent… But before I get distracted, back to post on moment by moment…

#5 Moments of celebrating…
“The more you CELEBRATE your life, the more there is in life to CELEBRATE” ~ Oprah Winfrey
Today I couldn’t help but post about the art of celebrating. With two very most awesome humans in my life celebrating their born days – my siblings (and no they are not twins 😉).. birthdays and days such as Mother’s Day just gone past always bring about an extra cause for celebrating.
